Yes, you read the title correctly. My Blogger account got deleted. You were able to find it through a URL, which was something like alexpiquetviolin.blogspot.com. The blog name was Alex + Violin. Don't you dare check the URL, because you'll just get some message like "Oops! You're looking at a Blogger account that doesn't have access to exist, or it has been deleted." or something like that. Here's how my account got deleted.
A couple days ago, I tried to log in to my Blogger account. If you didn't know, I'm 8 years old. At the time, I was able to have access to my Blogger account because my birthday wasn't entered in yet. When I tried to log into my account, it asked for my birthday. I (or my mom or dad) casually entered my birthday in.
When the system realized that I was a child, it showed recommendations to set up something called "Google Family Link". Not knowing what it was, my mom set it up. It turned out that this so called "Family Link" thing let the kid's parents have access to all of their Google related stuff.
And guess what? I didn't have access to YouTube or Blogger! My mom changed my birthday so I was "12 years and 364 days old". The next day, I "turned 13 years old". I had access to my YouTube account, but my Blogger account was gone forever.
The whole family was very frustrated. All I ever wanted to do then was to log in to my Blogger account, and then it got deleted!
We tried to delete our "Family Group" but even though I was "13", a message popped up saying that Family Groups with family members under 13 were not able to be deleted (even though I was "13"). Being more frustrated than ever, we had two decisions. The first one was to delete my Google account, and the second one was to make a new account under my mom's accounts.
We chose to make a new account. Here I am, with a new account. The problem was solved.
Soon, I will repost my old blogposts again, and everything will be normal again. Probably.
